WEBSITE CONTENT COLLECTION


  • Thank you for allowing us to partner with you on your website.


    This will serve as an interview that will allow us to gather the info we need to build your homepage mockup.


    Before you start, be sure to have 2 to 3 websites that represent the type of site you want to build.
  • STEP 1: SAMPLE WEBSITES


    Please provide a couple websites that you like and that you want yours to emulate. Point out what you like about the website. Notes on elements like the style, layout, colors, menus, fonts, and specific functionality are very helpful. If there is nothing you do not joke about the sample ,be sure to note that as well.
  • STEP 2: WEBSITE COLORS


    If you do not already have a website color palette in mind, we recommend resources like http://www.colourlovers.com/ to help you find quality color schemes.


    Background Color: Determine the background color. We usually encourage a white background as it sits behind the text of the website and makes it easier to read.


    Additional Colors: Choose the complimentary colors of the website, usually your brand colors.
  • STEP 3: LOGO


    Please upload an EPS version of your logo. If you do not have an EPS logo, please supply a PNG or other version.
  • STEP 4: HEADER CALL TO ACTION, PHONE, SOCIAL ICONS


    Call to Action: Should any of the menu items have a special look, like a call to action 'button'? Example: MAKE AN APPOINTMENT


    Phone Number: We recommend placing your phone number in the header. If you want it included, please provide the number.


    Social Links: Please designate if you want social icons/links in the header and provide the links to those channels.
  • STEP 5: COMPANY INFORMATION

  • STEP 7: FONTS


    If you have a preference on fonts, or style of fonts, please specify those below.
  • STEP 8: MAIN IMAGE


    The "Above the Fold" content is critical on the website. It's where we quickly answer, "What's in it for me?" or provide a specific call to action.
  • STEP 9: BELOW MAIN IMAGE


    Provide your ideas of what should happen beneath the main image or idenitfy options for your sample sites.
  • STEP 10: HOME PAGE SECTION 2 (IF NEEDED)

  • STEP 11: HOME PAGE SECTION 3 (IF NEEDED)

  • STEP 12: HOME PAGE SECTION 4 (IF NEEDED)

  • STEP 13: FOOTER


    The footer is usually organized in columns with your address, phone, links to privacy policy, and other important info.

    Provide your specific requests for your contact/appointment page.
  • STEP 17: MAIN MENU ORDER


    Let's nail down the order of the main menu, also referred to as the navigation or "tabs" across the top of the website. We recommend a maximum of 5-7 items with sub-menus if necessary.
  • STEP 18: MEDIA


    Please upload a zip file or provide links to any media (images, graphics, brochures, videos, etc.) that we can use on the website.
  • STEP 19: STOCK PHOTOGRAPHY


    Gravity Digital will secure up to 10 stock images for use on your website. If needed, supply links for up to 10 photos on the following websites:
